Peak Design Field Plate is a quick-release tripod plate made of CNC-machined anodized aluminum. Its main design innovation is a flip-out screw that, when the button is pressed, folds out to create an ergonomic handle with sufficient surface area for secure tightening and quick release - all without tools. When not in use, the screw remains recessed in the body of the plate.

The plate measures 3.8 x 3.8 x 0.7 cm and weighs 19 g. A compression-molded rubber non-slip pad prevents rotation on the camera body. Four integrated lugs are designed for Peak Design Anchor lugs, so the plate works with all PD straps. The screw is fixed permanently in the center of the plate - the plate cannot be shifted sideways.
